Programs ACA Degree Programs ACA, located in the prestigious Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, is a collaborative center of fashion education that fosters a work and learning environment, which provides innovative, challenging, and flexible on-site learning programs and course offerings tailored realistically to the needs of the Industry. ACA Certificate Programs For Professional Fashion Designers or Pattern Designers who want to broaden their skills (Academy of Couture Art Advanced Certifications - nights and/or weekends programs): For Fashion and related Industries Professionals wanting to understand and learn Fashion Design and/or Pattern Design techniques (Academy of Couture Art Professional Certifications - nights and/or week-end programs): ACA Intensive English Language Program For International Students who want to study in the US and Non-Natives who need to develop their English skills: ACA Recreational Programs “Learn how to make your own clothes” like the experts. Using our exceptional French Couture method you will quickly learn how to make amazing clothes to fit yourself. In this fun recreational class of 3 hours a week, you will create garments starting from the basics all the way to tailoring. "Learn Fashion Sketching and Illustration" Learn how to develop and draw fundamental fashion figures using European colors. This course will stress the movement and proportions of both male and female fashion figures and garment details through analysis of photographs and figure research as a basis for the creation of fashion design sketches in pencil and watercolor. This 3 part workshop conducted by Nathalie Fausty, will take us on a path to better understand sustainability in relation to fashion. Nathalie Fausty is a trend expert specializing in fashion insights, market analysis and sustainability issues.
During this three-month program, students reveal their vocation for fashion
while making different garments from among the following:
Skirt, Summer Dress, Casual Pants, Culottes, Shorts, Tank Top, T-Shirt,
Caraco, Halter Top, Vest. This introductory Fashion camp is conceived to awaken creativity, motivation, and a sense of achievement among the participants. Using our exceptional French Couture method, students learn quickly how to design and make amazing clothes. They also learn the secrets of measurement that set French Couture apart with its impeccably fitting results. |
